"At the end of August, I started at NewFysic. I was no longer happy with my reflection and the way I was living. I had followed several diets before this, but I was only focused on losing weight and adjusting my lifestyle. That's why every time I reached my goal I gained double the weight. Because of the positive experiences of my friends, I started NewFysic with my coach Mary Toonen in Katwijk. Through the diet I learned to adjust my eating pattern by eating at fixed times, 5-6 times a day.

I now eat more often in a day than I did before and I haven't had hunger moments either. There have always been times when it has been a little more difficult. What helped me a lot was to check what I had already accomplished and to take a "cheatmeal" every now and then. The tip from my coach to enjoy this and pick up where you left off the next day helped me a lot. Previously, after a cheat meal I had the feeling that losing weight was no longer of any use and I got stuck. Especially because of my coach Mary. Every week I have my weigh-in with her and we discuss the past week and she gives extra tips. Even when the weigh-in time was disappointing for me, she still made sure I left with a positive attitude and started my new week with good courage. My first goal was to lose 30 kilos. I hoped to achieve this in one year. I never thought I would reach my goal so much faster. After 29 weeks, I have now lost 33.3 kilos. I have almost completed my program, but I continue to see my coach. That way I can keep a stick and not fall back into my old pattern. The weight loss has made me feel better about myself and I enjoy buying clothes and being in photos again. I am incredibly grateful to my coach for helping me achieve this."
