Personal nutrition plan
When you follow NewFysic you also get a personal nutrition plan. Important during this period is that you eat six times a day. This way you keep your digestion going. You eat lots of vegetables and fruit, but less bread, pasta or potatoes. Besides water, Citymom Bettina drank tea or boiled water with ginger and lemon. On weekends, she did just drink a glass of wine. This kept it fun for her to follow NewFysic. She did exchange the fatty snacks for vegetables with hummus or a guacamole dip.
A NewFysic day of Bettina
- 08.00 - oatmeal with fruit
- 10.30 - 1 large smoothie with vegetables and fruit. I make these in the blender, see for recipes mijn smoothie blog. (Note: in principle smoothies do not belong in the NewFysic nutrition plan, once in a while is not bad but always consult with your coach)
- 13.00 - soup with two crackers
- 15.00 - 2 rice cakes or handful of cherry tomatoes
- 18.00 - salad with lots of vegetables. You can add meat or fish to the salad. Or eat fish with grilled vegetables.
- 21.00 - bowl of cottage cheese with fruit.
The nice thing about NewFysic is that it is very easy to integrate into your family. when you follow the program you get access to heerlijke recepten! Just cook some pasta, rice or potatoes for the kids. This way you don't have to cook for each family member separately. Around 3:30 p.m. you give them cherry tomatoes or banana bread as a snack and you can enjoy this too.
