UNICEF Netherlands and the LINDA.foundation come up with a great initiative namely 'Minderen voor Kinderen'. An app that teaches you to save money for charity. The money you save you can donate to children who are less fortunate. You keep track of what (luxury) expenses you do not do, such as a coffee out the door, a new shirt and going by bike instead of a car ride. The money saved can be transferred at the touch of a button. "A smart, easy way to downsize for the benefit of vulnerable children. For 10 euros we can already give school supplies to a child." - director Suzanne Laszlo of Unicef Netherlands. NewFysic is also happy to participate in the 'Minderen voor Kinderen' action that runs from November 1 to 7, 2018. Can it be a kilo less? NewFysic donates the weight that you, our customers, have lost in kilos this week with us, in cash. Through this contribution, we support children from families in the Netherlands who are struggling financially. So...don't forget to come by for your weigh-in, because your result is a gift for a child. Minderen voor Kinderen Donations are divided between UNICEF Netherlands and LINDA.foundation.
