Take a break

It's okay to deviate from the standard program at Easter. Make slightly different and more luxurious choices. Spread your whole-wheat cracker/butter with enough protein to make you feel satiated. So you are less likely to feel hungry!

Tomato/egg

Slice a hard-boiled egg and a tomato. Place alternately on your cracker and season with some salt and pepper.

Beef carpaccio

Top your cracker with some slices of beef carpaccio and garnish with some pine nuts and a small tuft of arugula lettuce. Sprinkle with a teaspoon of (homemade) pesto if desired.

Smoked salmon

Top your cracker with a layer of Boursin/Paturain light, some lettuce on top and a slice of smoked salmon. Season with some salt and pepper and garnish with some fresh chives.

Tuna with capers

Use a can of water-based tuna (drain well). Cut 1 tomato, ¼ cucumber and half a red onion into small pieces. Mix this into the tuna, along with 1 tablespoon of low-fat yogurt and a tablespoon of capers and season with some salt and pepper.

Roast beef

Top your cracker with a layer of Boursin/Paturain light and a slice of roast beef on top. Season with some salt and pepper and garnish with some fresh herbs of your choice (chives, for example).

Cottage cheese with egg and red bell pepper

Mix 50 grams of Hüttenkäse chive-parsley with a tablespoon of 0% fat Greek yogurt. Slice one hard-boiled egg. Divide the mixture between two whole wheat crackers and top with the egg slices and some thin strips of red bell bell pepper and garnish with some fresh herbs of your choice, if desired.
