Healthy living has never been more important.
And then suddenly you are at home working and your daily rhythm is completely upside down. Your (t)home is suddenly transformed into an office, nursery, school, gym and/or restaurant. And most likely, you will be the manager and mental coach of it all. On top of that there is the necessary tension and stress, in short, all the ingredients to be sitting on the couch after the 3 weeks completely broken down and probably with the necessary extra kilos.
We are not going to let that happen and will do everything we can with our coaches to help you through this quarantine. We know that a healthy weight and lifestyle contributes to a strong immune system so that's our focus. Helping you with a healthy lifestyle, even in these times.

Here are some tips:
- NewFysic's method offers structure, regularity and guidance to help you live healthier right now. Therefore, stick to the diet plan as much as possible, this gives structure and something to hold on to. It is really not bad if you don't succeed for a day (or 2), but do try to pick it up again afterwards. What can help is the AppetiteControl in te nemen, deze remt de eetlust waardoor je niet gaat snaaien tussendoor. Voel je toch de behoefte om te gaan snoepen, maak (alleen) een wandeling buiten, poets je tanden (ja, echt, dat remt ook de eetlust) of neem lekker wat rauwkost.
- Probeer zo veel mogelijk met pure ingrediënten te koken en zo min mogelijk bewerkt. Het is eigenlijk heel simpel, jij bepaalt welke voedingsstoffen je in ‘jouw machine’ stopt om deze optimaal te kunnen laten draaien. Dus laten we deze periode ook gebruiken voor een stuk bewustwording. Laat de geraffineerde suikers en alcohol achterwege en gebruik deze periode om de sterkste versie van jezelf te worden! Kies zoveel mogelijk voor verse, rauwe, biologische producten uit het boodschappenboekje.

- Keep moving and relaxing. Especially now, relaxation is so important. Stress makes your body less able to burn fat and gain energy. In addition, stress negatively affects our immune system. So how do you prevent stress in this day and age? Ok, quite honestly, getting through such a period completely stress free is not possible. However, you can learn to deal with it. Take a walk (30 min), retreat for a session of Yoga Nidra (20 min), schedule a telephone consultation with your coach (10 min), take the necessary supplements that are stress-relieving, e.g. the Mood & Energy en probeer 2 to 5 minuten aan mindfullness te doen (op een rustige plek zitten om even helemaal nergens aan te denken en tot jezelf te komen).
- Meten = weten. We kunnen ons voorstellen dat Smart Home Scale from NewFysic, which in many cases was not your best friend anyway, has now become an even bigger enemy. But, this scale is actually your friend. Give him a name and embrace him;-). Because Harry (we'll call him that for the sake of convenience now), tells you how you're doing and that's exactly what your coach needs to motivate you back in the right direction.
