When you follow NewFysic, your coach will give you a personal nutrition plan. This plan contains a varied diet, but certain foods, such as avocados, are excluded during the NewFysic course. Why? You can read about that in this blog!
1 Calories:
Although avocados contain healthy fats, they are also high in calories. An average avocado can contain between 200-300 calories (depending on the size). The goal is to limit calorie intake to promote weight loss. And an avocado, unfortunately, is too high in calories.
2 Fat content:
Although avocados are known for their healthy monounsaturated fats, they still contain significant amounts of fat. During your NewFysic regimen, the proper balance of food and nutrients will be carefully considered to optimize weight loss. Limiting foods with higher fat content, including avocados, can help achieve this goal.
Fortunately, there are plenty of other healthy foods you can include to enrich your meals:
Green leafy vegetables: Spinach, kale, arugula and other leafy vegetables are low in calories and high in vitamins, minerals and fiber.
Cucumber: Cucumber is refreshing, low in calories and pairs well with other vegetables.
Tomato: Tomatoes are rich in antioxidants and can be a tasty addition to salads and meals.
Peppers: Peppers add color and flavor to dishes and are low in calories.
Zucchini: Zucchini can be used as a low-carb substitute for pasta and can also be grilled, baked or steamed.
Summary: Although avocados are healthy foods in themselves, temporarily avoiding them during the NewFysic journey can help you achieve your goals!💪
